The house itself was large and spacious, had great natural light, and was super fun for the kids to get in the hot tub and play foosball. The beds were comfortable and the hosts provided plenty of towels, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, etc. On the city days, we were 20 minutes from everywhere in Asheville. We stayed for a whole week, saw all the sites, and had a blast each day.
It is the ultimate retreat -- as much a resort as a vacation home with beautiful views, lovely gardens, and so much to do. Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are supplied with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit . Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office during business hours.

This modern mountain home with air conditioning system has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and extra kitchenette/bar area downstairs. Visit to ski Sugar Mountain, view the foliage of the Blue Ridge Parkway, or relax by the fireplace. All of our NC Rental Cabins are private individually owned log homes and mountain chalets available as vacation rentals when the owners are not vacationing in them. When we are able to arrange a special discounted rate with the owner of a cabin, we pass on the savings to our guests.
All of our guest start their vacations off at this centralized location when checking in at our office, just one block off Everett St. and a short walk to the train station. From our office, no matter which Carolina Mountain Vacations’ cabin you choose to stay at, you will only be a few minute drive away from your cabin rental. As all of our vacation homes and log cabin rentals are privately owned, their locations are spread throughout the Bryson City, Cherokee, Fontana Lake and Nantahala regions. Some of our cabins are completely secluded and others are located with in a short walk from one another. To ensure you are choosing a cabin which is as private as you want, we provide a seclusion scale for each cabin. All of our cabins are excellent choices as a base camp for your excursions throughout the smoky mountains.
Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To book the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
